Happy New Year Everyone!!
Here is my first post for 2012… Have not done any SDE for a long time and thank God I made it.. What a good start of the year with a Singaporean wedding, great people, nice place and of course fantastic team.
When the first time I knew I would be shooting Eden and Willy’s wedding, I was so excited that this would be a great wedding to shoot. Both of them actually live in Jakarta, Indonesia. The day started with a tea ceremony at Eden’s place on the 14th of January. After that, the wedding itself was held on the next day at St. Regis Hotel, Singapore. As what Singaporean weddings always have, there was a gatecrashing. It wasn’t easy for Eden to see his bride to be for the first time in the beautiful wedding dress. He had to pass all the tasks that the bridesmaid has prepared.
At the dinner reception, there were 8 dancing lions. This is the first time I have ever seen a wedding with lion dance and it was AMAZING! Eden and Willy really know how to party.
The SDE did not include the lion dance. It was finished with the cutting cake. however, since the lion dance was one of the highlight of the day and happened just before the SDE was played, I just had to adjust the SDE to include this ^^
To Eden and Willy, Congratulations for your new life together and may your marriage be fruitful as well as your business (Their business is a fruit industry). Thank you for trusting us to be a part of your big day.
And also, I would like to thank my team, Peggy and Petty, for their help. This was actually their first time ever shooting a wedding and they did a really good job. Well done team!
